How far is too far - OBGYN?

I need some opinions on an issue I’m having with my OBGYN. 
I recently moved to a new area and am going through the process of finding a new OBGYN. I LOVED my old one but their office is 45 minutes away not including traffic (I live in a metropolitan are). I’ve asked so many Women’s opinion and so far no one has referred any food doctors in the area. I tried one that someone said recommended but she was just not my favorite (bad beside manner, rushed, etc.). After finding out I’m pregnant on Tuesday, I went ahead and made my appointment at my old doctor that I know will be a good experience. However, multiple people are telling me that it’s a bad idea since when I get into my third trimester I will have to go every week and emergency situations with the distance. 
What do you all think? How far do you drive for a doctor that you trust?

I drive 30 minutes to see my obgyn. I think it’s fine. Honestly as long as they can make it to the hospital when you’re delivering, that’s the important thing. If you have a relationship, don’t stress yourself out by trying to establish another relationship with another ob on your side of town. It will make things stressful.

I drive about an hour to my OBGYN’s, and if he moved farther, I would still go to him

You’re fine! I don’t live in a metropolitan area; however, I do live in the middle of bum fuck Egypt & my ride to the hospital is that long. Worth the drive if you love your doctor.

Mine is 45 minutes away no traffic 1 hour with traffic. This is my second pregnancy. That’s literally the closest to me so no other options it’s worked out fine so far

I drove 50 minutes to ours with my first. I would do it again too if I had too. I knew that being my first, it would take a while laboring so I figured we would get there in time.

45 minutes isn't that far.  If I loved my doctor, I'd drive 45 minutes.  In fact, my current doctor works in many offices.  We hate the office that's 15 minutes from our house, so we drive double the distance/time just to go to the office we like.

With my 1st my ob was 1hr away with my 2nd 30min away 3rd &4th 1hr away i lived in a small town so i had no option but my ob with 3rd and 4th baby was the best ob i had. If you like how your dr is i think the 43min drive is worth it

My Obgyn is 1hour and 15mins away with no traffic but traffic it’s 1.5-2 hours to get there. I go there because of the nicu and being high risk. My labors are also only 2-5 hours long with pushing. I live in Northern Michigan and it’s gonna be snowing by the time I go into labor too..
