Fake drinking ideas?

So when we go out with friends my husband and I have been pretty good about switching out his empty cans into my koozies. Or ordering jack and Coke without the jack so that nobody hears. But now we have an outing with my brother and I can't slide anything past him (were waiting till Thanksgiving to tell). Anyone have any ideas? Only thing I can think is to get some non alcoholic beer (which I totally didn't know was Thing) but when I Google it it says they have little to no alcohol. Does anyone know of non alcoholic beers that have NONE. And that look legit?

Say your on medication and alchohol dosnt mix at all with it.

Tell you're server or bartender before hand that you're going to order mixed drinks but dont put the alcohol in.

Any non alcoholic drinks (like 0% beer) that I've seen have clear markings to show they are non alcoholic. 
Either "mix" your drinks with no alcohol in them (I can't see that working), or say you are on some kind of antibiotic and were told not to drink alcohol, or fake sick and don't go at all?
Unless you want to buy some pre-mixed drinks that come in twist top bottles, dump them out, and refill with pop before you go. 
No matter what you do, if you go and pretend to be drinking you'll still be faced with refusing drinks that are offered, which would lead to questions.

I used to fill up an empty vodka bottle with water when we were trying to keep it from my in laws and then just proceed to “mix” my drink how I normally would.   Was even funnier when I made my MIL a few drinks🤣🤣.

Try getting like a tonic and cranberry, looks like vodka and cranberry. Or a gin and tonic with no gin. Honey jack and gingerale (this one because jack daniels honey is the same color as ginger ale it looks the same) so you can just get ginger ale.

I agree with making your server/bartender aware that your drinks should have no alcohol no matter what. Otherwise, using medication as an excuse will work...unless youre like me and are never sick so "being on meds" would send up red flags. We have a party to go to tonight and I just plan on being the DD. No one can give grief for that!

I'm pretty sure they all have a little bit of alcohol and it says it on the label, so its obvious. Could you make a "mix" and bring it along? Or maybe just say you're stomach has been hurting so you arent drinking?
