Brown discharge? Period? What is this?

so my period this month has been going back and forward with brown discharge and blood. I still haven’t had a steady blood flow so do I even count it ? On Thursday (24th) I had nothing but brown discharge with just tinted red when I wipe once then. Friday up until today I wipe some blood but still with brown sometimes no blood at all. These pics are from this morning after wiping just brown. My last period was October 3rd and I had brown discharge for 4 days before I even got my period this is the first time this has ever happened should I be concerned ?

What do I count as my first day ?
