Induction??

I'm 39w tomorrow and I'm curious about asking my OB about being induced? It's selfish but I'm just over the pregnancy thing.

I'm uncomfortable and so tired of crying due to that discomfort. Getting annoyed with my fiance, all I want to do is lay in bed and stare at the wall. Baby is measuring to be about 6.9lbs... people say horrible things about those who willingly schedule for induction so I just want to know everyone's thoughts? Maybe someone can steer me to just wait until baby is ready, since I have no real necessary reason for it.
