My husband waited 6 years & counting.....

Who ever thought it would be so hard to have a baby? I sure didn't🤦🏾‍♀️

A little about us, my husband and I have been ttc for 6 years. During this 6 years we've had 5 miscarriages with our first mc happening in 2013 and most recent in Jan. 2019. After my first mc my OB prescribed metformin 500 mg ER twice a day. She recommended that I had sex every other day while taking it as most people conceive within 30 days and if I didn't she would prescribe clomid... Well, I conceived with just metformin and miscarried..A few months later she added 50 mg clomid with metformin and another mc. So at this point she referred me to a specialist....

Both my husband and I had the consultation and did blood work (chromosomal test) everything came back normal for both of us and she didn't see anything that would cause another mc... well this was back in March and it's now October and still nothing.

Well since then my husband and I have started trying, not as if we ever stopped lol. But my husband really, really, really is ready to become a dad. Lately he's been making comments about "When we have a kid I'm taking them here, or we're gonna do this, or I'm gonna hold them like this when I watch a game" He Our baby is already a cowboys fan per dad, LOL!

So yesterday I came downstairs with breakfast on the table that he prepared. After breakfast he goes, babe, go upstairs and take a ovulation test so I can put a baby in you. Yall! I was like yes honey, and ran upstairs to grab a opk strip. Even though the test was negative we still practiced😁

I just think it's so sweet and such a honor to have a man that's just as ready and patient to become a parent just as you. Thank you God for my husband💜
