Tired of being dismissed

Me and my Husband went for our second appointment with my doctor today (the first was a year ago when they told us we hadn’t been trying long enough) and we were told today that because my husband has Diabetes and therefor has ED and we cannot actually BD in order to conceive that we haven’t actually been “trying” to have a baby and they cannot help us. We were told to stop saying we were “trying” because wanting is different then trying. And to go see his doctor again ( last time she said that he needed to get rid of his diabetes to fix it) and ask her for a referral to a fertility clinic. I’m devastated and oh so incredibly angry at the way we were spoken to and how we have been constantly dismissed.
