Painful hips

Has anyone been taken off work early due severe sore hips causing you not being able to walk? I’m trying to see if that is an option. My hips are hurting so bad I’m 31 weeks not sure if I can make it to my maternity leave date which is still 6 weeks away. It is starting to affect my work. I’m constantly late because I can barely walk and have seriously considered a walking cane. Any advice would be great
