Finding an OB?

Question

Husband and I "stopped trying to not have a kids" last month and boom we're pregnant. How did you find your OB? how do you choose?
Do you make an appt with your general practitioner first or go right to OB? 
4 Weeks 3 days and feeling super unprepared.

1. Google search obgyn did that practice through the hospital you want. Look up reviews of each hospitals labor/delivery. 
2. Read reviews of doctors online
3. Ask friends who have had babies if they liked theirs. 
4. Once you choose a doctor that practices through your hospital then confirm with insurance you will be covered. 
5. Call to schedule first appointment

Answer

With my insurance I have to get a referral from my primary care doctor. Where I live though I only really have two choices for an OB, so the choice will be relatively easy for me.
