I Won’t Ever Have The Wedding Of My Dreams

I’ve been engaged since December 29, 2018. Since the day we got engaged EVERYONE has been asking when we’re getting married, and I can never give them a real answer. We don’t have money AT ALL, and he’s wanting to go to the courthouse to get married. I want an actual wedding with the pretty dress, flowers, and venue. The more I think about it, the more I want it, but I get more stressed out each time. We can’t afford a cute wedding, and I don’t have friends to even attend. I wouldn’t mind inviting just my family members, but it’s honestly starting to depress me.

Edit: My dad passed last year, and I think that’s why I’m so reluctant to start planning anything. Whether it’s courthouse, or not, I just want my dad there and I can’t wrap my head around him not being there on one the biggest days of my life.
