Has anyone’s baby fell and hit their head yet??

My little girl was trying to walk and hit her head on the couch. I feel awful 😭😭 I took my eyes off her for a second. Now she has a bruise and a knot on her head. 💔

My boy hits his head on EVERYTHING. He’s knocking door jambs, falling backwards and hitting the floor, falling forwards and hitting the floor. Just the other night he was climbing off a very low to the ground area and leaned too far forward and hit his head on the tile. Had a huge knot and bruised but not the knot is gone and bruise isn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. I felt horrible because typically him bonking his head doesn’t phase him at all, but this time I knew it hurt and I almost cried because of the big goose egg on his forehead. He was more ok than I was though lol. Babies fall and hit their heads, trying to prevent it would require me to just hold my boy 24/7 and that’s unrealistic. If you’re ever worried about her hitting her head just watch for constant crying, vomiting, if pupil dilation is normal or not and making sure she doesn’t sleep immediately after if it was a bad one.

She has hit her head more times than I can count lol. My boyfriend got her this ridiculous bunny head gear and we have bumpers on the corners of our tables etc but none of that has kept her safe so far lol. Her walking has gotten pretty good now so she doesn’t fall quite as much anymore. The only thing is that she climbs on and off the couch now and when she tries to get down, she jumps head first with no fear. But we have been putting a layer of pillows in front of the couch now so that got better too

Girl, I accidentally dropped three board books directly on my daughter's face and gave her a shiner last night. And she head-butted a shelf at daycare last week. And she fell backwards in the living room while sitting up and smiling at me the other day.
It hurts us worse than it hurts them!
