Varicocele diagnosis/surgery
We’ve been TTC for a few years now and I’ve had every test under the sun I feel like. Everything comes back normal time and time again. My husband finally made an appt with a urologist and was diagnosed with varicoceles in his testicles - basically like varicose veins in his balls. They affect testosterone production and subsequently, sperm production. All these years I’ve been doing MAD fertility research and this is my first time hearing about varicoceles, and apparently they’re not only very common and a leading cause of fertility issues for men, but also a *somewhat* easy surgical fix! My husband is going to be scheduled for surgery in the next couple months but I wanted to share this info so that if anyone else was experiencing trouble conceiving, they could go get their partner checked! Lots of love and baby dust to you all!
