I broke off two engagements- the first one my fiancé was very controlling of my friends, schedule, etc. I struggled with thinking I’d made the right decision as I was very close with his family but ultimately I knew it was the right choice. The second one I called off was my sons father after I finally realized I deserved more than consistently being cheated on. I am now happily married to a man who is my best friend and treats me like I am the only woman in the world. I have no regrets.

My eldest sister did. She called off the wedding a month before it happened. She later started dating the guy who’d made her realize that she was marrying the wrong guy (the one she called off) and ended up marrying the second guy. They’ve been happily married for about 10 years and have three awesome kids!
