We have been TTC for 6 unsuccessful months now. Should I call my OB or wait for a few more months? 
I’ve been tracking with temp, ovulation testing, CM, etc. 
If it’s time to call my OB, what do I even say is my reason for scheduling? I am just feeling so discouraged. I want baby #2!

I say call. What can it hurt? What if something god forbid is wrong? I’m the type that wants to know and know now. I’d rather know sooner than later to try and solve the issue you know? Maybe she has some valuable insight for you! It doesn’t hurt to go in sooner than after a year of trying

Click wait. It took me about a year with my first (got pregnant at 29 and had my son 3 days after turning 30). My dr told me that it can take perfectly healthy couples up to a year to conceive and since I was under 35, not to even start worrying until after 1yr. She said if I was 35 or older, it would have been after 6 months that I could consult for help.

If you’re 35+ and it’s been 6 months, you can call your de. 
34 or less - you have to wait at least a year before getting checked.

Yes the recommendation is a year, but it won’t hurt to talk to your doctor especially if you’ve been having timed intercourse with positive ovulation per the kits and temping.

Most of the time they will tell you if you're not 35 to keep trying for a year before they will do anything.

If you’re calling for fertility help and want further testing, most drs will tell you that you have to try at least a year. If your dr is a pill pusher then you shouldn’t have a problem getting help.

Weve been trying for a year and a half almost two years. When I went to my ob months ago and talked to her had all tests ran, she told me its normal for it to take about a year. Especially if you have been on birth control. Wait a few months and keep busy, or if you feel the need go in and get some tests ran to make sure everything is working ok just to calm your mind and heart.
