Just recently got the taking care babies course - she recommends feeding every 2 and no longer than every 3 during the day to increase calorie intake during the day. Have been trying this instead of feeding on demand and have had 2 nights with 2 4 hour stretches - compared to wake ups every 2 hours. Anyone else following this? I’m still not sure - feels a bit like force feeding but I’ll take the sleep!!

Every 2-3 hours but there are times where he will cluster every 1.5 hours, usually at night before bed or during a growth spurt

He was going 3 hours and just getting to 3 1/2 . Then he turned into another human entirely and wanted to eat every 1.5-2 hours during the day and every 2 at night verses the 7.5 we had been getting! (My baby has almost doubled his birth weight and he isn't even 3 months, exclusively breastfeeding so the long stretches at night and day were not hurting him at all)
