Best pump recommendation?

Question

Is manual better or electric? Should I buy both? My next step is to buy a pump before the baby arrives.  Does anybody know of any good pumps? Preferably $200 or less 😬

You should checkout Aeroflow Breast Pumps. I just received my breast pump last Tuesday for free. I also got the Spectra S2plus. And if your insurance doesn’t cover try looking on Mercari. You can find all different kinds of breast pumps for cheap and brand new 🤗

Before buying one look to see what your insurance covers. Mine covered the Ameada finesse. I ended up buying the spectra S2 and liked having both- one for work and one for home. I did like the spectra, others have liked the Medela better but I never tried that one so am not sure.

The medela didn’t fit me properly and I hated it. I liked the manual one but electric is better for regular use

That’s the one I have. My breastfeeding instructor told me it’s better than the S1 because it’s not battery operated. Reason being when the batteries start crapping out, the pump starts pulling less without you realizing it. So to not affect your flow, use the plug option.

I don’t know much about pumps since I got mine through my insurance, but my electric one works great. I highly recommend this bc it helps catch milk when you leak. Its saved me so much milk. It’s similar to the HaaKaa brand and  it’s like $13 cheaper.

Madelas makes really good pumps- definitely get the electric. I’ve also had Ameda and I really liked that as well. I would buy before baby comes.
