The truth about essential oils and pregnancy?

Me and my husband just brought a  new  house and Im trying to make it very cozy i brought a diffuser and essential oil but now im reading you should not use them during pregnancy because they can cause complications or contractions is this true? if so which should I avoid??

You can use them. Just be careful about which ones. Clary Sage, for example, is one that will put you into labor. So avoid that one for sure. Most others are fine

Avoid Clary Sage and any blend with it in it. Only use high quality oils (not the cheap ones at the drugstore/retail shops). And to be on the safe side the brands that can be ingested (young living and dōTERRA), I’d still not ingest any during pregnancy. Let me know if you have more questions! It’s totally safe to diffuse high quality oils during pregnancy, many hospitals allow mothers to diffuse while in labor now too 😊

My husband and I avoid all essential oil’s during pregnancy. Why not live on the safe side you know 🤷🏼‍♀️

Well I used clary sage to encourage contractions as advised by my midwife. So avoid that if baby still needs time cooking. 
I primarily used/use lavender and lemon
