Can you predict if youre baby is going to be born early??

I always thought and told people my boy was going to be early because the dr told me he was big and he was sitting low, boy did I feel dumb when I went 10 days overdue, he came out 7.3 and looking bloody tiny 😳😂🤦

Nope, all my midwives, consultants and doctors told me my baby would be premature and I definitely wouldn't go over 30-34 weeks... That I'd definitely not still be pregnant in November... 
It's now November and he's not here yet😂 I'm 37+3 weeks so classed as full term (in the UK where I am) too so boy were they wrong!!

All 3 of ours have been born at 36 weeks so we just kind of assume the next baby will be, too, but there’s really no way to predict it for sure.

Not at all. With my first, everyone (my mom, myself, and my team of midwives) thought there was a really good chance of my baby coming early due to losing my plug, contractions since 36 weeks, baby sitting very low, etc. I even went on maternity leave early to make sure I had enough time. Baby came at 40+6.

Yes I new when mine were coming both were early one was 4 weeks early weight 7.6 other was 3 weeks early weight 8.3. I just new because they were so low and I had lots of Braxton Hicks and horrible diarrhea

I went into labor 3 times with my first and he was 10 days late. I was on bed rest with my 2nd and she came on her due date. The 3rd was induced a week early (no real signs of preterm labor)and I just had my 4th at 39+1, went into labor naturally.  I would say generally no you cant really "predict" baby coming early. Even subsequent pregnancies can be totally different 😁

Not really other than signs of preterm labor, but fun story, I had a dream when I was only 10 weeks along that I had a girl and she was born early on August 23rd (due September 15th) and I ended up having a girl and was induced because of PPROM on the 23rd lol she was born on the 26th.
