Baby Shower & NICU Update

We had my baby shower yesterday as scheduled; I never expected to be two weeks post-partum when we picked the date! It was so nice to do something normal and family came for the shower and to see baby Ginny.

Ginny is two weeks old today, has gained 4 oz since her birthweight. She’s breathing well after a week on a ventilator and she’s eating really well and had her IV out Sunday because she doesn’t need IV nutrition anymore. And we’ve been getting to do skin to skin with her!
