Should I work it out?

Can you forgive your significant other from cheating ? Its been 5 years and i found out he cheated recently and we do have a baby on the way .. part of me wants to forgive because its been infidelity on both sides after we was going through a lot but once we got back in a good space he continued the infidelity.. I caught it and he been there for me emotionally and everything else and willing to fix it and do whatever he can for me to gain his trust back .. did anyone experience this ? If so How did you guys work it out?
