VBAC?

What made you want to have a VBAC? In my mind I go back and forth, I want to my baby #2 vaginal but I’m afraid of stop dilating and have to do another c-section. By the way I’m not pregnant going to start trying when our daughter is 1.￼

Reasons why I want and am planning a VBAC. 
1. Having a toddler and a baby while healing from a c-section sounds like a nightmare.
2. I want more children and the more c-sections you have the higher the risks of bad complications.
3. It’s safer and according to ACOG and WHO it is safer.
4. I’m more knowledgeable of birth physiology and will not be induced without true medical need. I was induced with my first because I was “over due” which is not a true medical need unless you are 42+6 ACOG stat as well. 
5. Risk or hysterectomy is only 0.3% lower than risk of rupture and hysterectomy scares me more.
6. Risk of rupture is only 0.87%
7. My midwife has a 95% VBAC success rate.
I could go one forever.

I just had a successful VBAC!! I actually posted my story under the vbac group. My first c section was also at fully dilated and after pushing for a while. The c section was so awful that i knew i never wanted one again. Also, i want a large family and that’s never guaranteed with multiple c sections. I fought my doctors real hard and luckily i went into labor on my own and did it. Let me tell you it is really worth it to try.

Haven’t had a VBAC yet, we are currently trying for baby #2. My csection was sort of planned and sort of not with my son. I didn’t want to have a csection but a week before I was due I had to schedule , it was the safest option for my son and I. I think this time we are going on with the plan that we don’t have a plan. I want to have a VBAC to experience labor and things, I know it’s painful but I feel like it’s something I missed out on.
