Gabriel's Birth Story

Gabriel Asher was born October 26th. 7 lbs 2 oz.

This birth was different from his brothers. I was in pain, it was difficult to stand and to talk to others but I have a high pain tolerence and wasn't sure if I should go to the hospital. I decided to go to see if I had dilated anymore and learned that I was already at 5 cm and Baby would be coming soon.

A few hours later I decided to go ahead and get the epidural. I have severe scoliosis and it was more difficult for them to do it than it was with my first. It took 2 hours just to get the epidural in and it was the most difficult and painful part of having this Baby. Two nurses and the doctor came in saying it was time to push but I didn't have the urge to do it yet. We counted to ten each time and about 5 pushed Baby was out :) I had a Lot of deep muscle pain in my back and I'm still in pain from it today but it was much easier than having my first
