Slow down little boy!!!

Had a cervix check today at 38+2. I was 1cm, 50% effaced last week - this week am 2cm, “very thinned” and “lots of pressure in there.”

I have an induction scheduled for next Wednesday the 13th and my mom who I haven’t seen my entire pregnancy arrives via airplane from California that morning. Doctor was optimistic that baby may arrive before Wednesday 😧.

As much as I want to go natural and am ready for our baby boy I want my mom to be here. What’s the likely hood he’ll slow it down a bit and wait for her to get here!
