High blood pressure?

Question

Okay so I turned 37 weeks pregnant Sunday and went to the doc yesterday and my blood pressure was elevated 134/90 today I monitored and it was around 138/95 pretty much all day. It did fluctuate  a little and my feet and ankles are swelling so they put me on bedrest until Friday morning when they will recheck my pressure and give me an NST (nonstress test) just curious if anyone has had a similar experience and what the outcome was!? Thanks in advance!

I had the same thing happen. Came
In for my 37 week appointment and my BP was elevated 118/88 and my feet and ankles  are swollen and my right leg was more than my left. Doctor said it’s not too high but if it continues we will have to get the baby out and induce me. I have an appointment tomorrow for 38 weeks and I am hoping I can buy myself another week before being induced to see if he comes on his own and to be closer to the due date for his health. But the doctor said he would be fine if he came it now... so whatever happens they should
Be fine. Still nervous though.

My pressures slowly went up to that and then would spike every so often but would go down to that semi-borderline number. Then one day I was pre-eclamptic and had my baby at 36 weeks. Just keep an eye on your pressures, they worry more if it stays high and doesn’t go down or keeps getting higher. Plus protein in your urine and low platelets in your blood. Watch for a headache that won’t go away within an hour of taking Tylenol. Not much you can do besides be vigilant and it sounds like your doctor is.
