Drinking and clomid?

My doctor did not tell me to abstain from drinking.
Does anyone have any info on this
This is my first cycle. I just finished the pills.

My doctor has told me I can drink while on clomid to not drink once I reach ovulation because obviously you can become pregnant and shouldn’t drink.  But honestly I always just refrain from drinking while TTC anyway to be safe.

I think it's because both can cause nausea. I had wine this cycle a few nights but not on the days I took the pill.

I didn’t really drink because I had migraines but I did have a glass of wine and a few drinks right before I got my big fat positive
