Do you place your baby in the middle or bottom of the cot

Curious as I’ve seen a lot of people placing their baby in the middle of the cot but I was told the bottom is the safest.

Its safest so they dont hit their head as easily on the top. But mine does 360 circles all around the whole thing so it really doesnt matter where I put her.

The bottom is the safest if using loose blankets as you can tuck them in and it prevents them slipping under. If you use a sleep sack it doesn’t matter as baby can’t slip under it. I’ve just started using the cot and actually but her at the top as that where I get the best picture from the camera.

Any wear as she’s in a sleep sack , they only say bottom if using loose blankets

I place him in the bottom but he moves a lot in his sleep and sometimes end up with his head at the top lol 🤷‍♀️
