If been grieving about a loss in my family and my boyfriend disappeared from the face of the earth he always avoids me when upset going through ruff times

Some people just don’t know how to handle other peoples emotions. Some people become very uncomfortable around someone who is emotional. Sometimes people are dealing with their own shit and simply don’t have the space to deal with yours too. 
With that said, I think your boyfriend should make an effort to be more supportive. I think you should explain to him that this makes you feel really unloved and in order to make that better, you need him To at least make some effort to emotionally￼support you. If he can’t do that, he is not the right guy for you.￼ We should be able to count on our spouses for some type of emotional support, without holding them responsible for our feelings or making it better.
