I tested positive my first pregnancy and had to have the antibiotics during labor but I was negative this time!

I don't really consider it pass or fail.  It's just a harmless bacteria you may carry on your gut. It comes and goes so at any given time you may test positive or negative for it. To newborns it can be harmful that's why they give you antibiotics but it's very rare to pass on

Im a FTM and I tested positive for it and one thing I can say is this group is the one thing that made me feel so much less worried about it. It’s nice to know it is very common and not as big of a deal as I thought it would be.

I had it with my first pregnancy no issue just need antibiotic during labor. I'm negative this time. 
Its just a thing women (prob all of us) get at some point in time it's a natural thing on out body it really doesnt do anything to us, not a cleanly thing or whatever no shame. And it's honestly rare that it even hurts baby when it not caught. So do not let it worry you. Just be prepared for some IV antibiotics during labor. 
If you have a doc that wont do a membrane strip due to being positive find a diff doctor or tell them you want it and will wave whatever they're worried about...theres zero reason to not have the sweep being positive... your water can break on it own either way, and either way you would be given antibiotics...  being induced is waaaaay more dangerous!

Negative for me. If it's positive they give you antibiotics when you're in labor
