I’m getting surgery

So I recently got a IUD placed. I went a few weeks ago for a string check and my yearly exam. He couldn’t find the string so I had to do an ultrasound to make sure it’s placed right. They actually found a large cyst on the ultrasound. He wanted to bring me back to monitor it. Well I had it Tuesday and he decided that I have to get surgery. I might lose my ovary in the process.

It’s just weird because I had bad cramps and my stomach has been off. I just didn’t realize that something was wrong.

I immediately talked to my boss about scheduling. Pretty much nothing worked so I just had to pick. She seems pretty irritated.

I work in a big company so I get FMLA. So it can’t be held against me.

I’m just nervous about actually getting surgery as I’ve never had any major medical issues. Im also nervous about work. Like my boss just seems very irritated. She used to be so sweet and spoke so highly of me.

I already have a lot of anxiety and I don’t know what to do. Ahhhhh
