Why don’t you like Miarra?

Surprised by all the no’s on the poll I posted!  Just curious as to why you all don’t like Miarra ? “Me-are-uh”
I thought it was unique but not too weird, and not the same names we hear over and over, you know what I mean?

It almost sounds like a cat sound in my head - like I read it Meowra for some reason. Just a gut reaction. It’s not the worst I’ve heard but I’m not really a fan.

I really, really mean this in the kindest most helpful way possible, but not having seen your first post I thought this was a post asking about a birth control named Miarra. It just kind of sounds pharmaceutical to me.

It sounds and looks made up. I’m just not personally a fan of made up names. If it’s a legit name that has meaning, that’s different. Maybe I just have never heard of it. But regardless of that, that was my initial reaction.

I like it, but some people just prefer something more common I guess. It’s unusual to most people, but that’s what I like.

I’m pretty sure most people vote no to anything they haven’t heard before. 
It’s not a name I would chose for my kid, but I think it’s reasonably pretty. It’s got a lot of the same sounds that are “in” right now, but it’s also new and different. So I think she’d probably like her own name.  
Use it, if it’s what you love.
