Thanks everyone. She has always been so artistic and I hope she always continues to draw/create. Here are some if he older drawings This one she was 12The next few she was 10 (penny next to playdoh for size reference)She made this Barbie outfit out of printed duct tape at 8!!! She has always loved fashion and FX makeup (can’t find any pics of that)And the frog is at 1 1/2. I know it doesn’t look great but amazing for a child under 2She definitely doesn’t get it from her mama because I can’t even draw a stick man 😂😂
My daughter’s art project was a “recycle project”. She is 14 years old and amazes me with every piece of art she creates.

She would probably be really good at drawing up tattoo ideas! I have ideas but for the life of me I can’t draw them on paper 😭😂

Thank you 💗 she is such a perfectionist when it comes to her art so she take it pretty hard when she doesn’t get an A in art class but obviously the teacher is blind or has unrealistic expectations. All of the lovely comments made her day

Tell her not to let the education system get in the way of doing what she loves and has God given talent in. Its so easy to get distracted now a days with visions of other peoples expectations of what we should be doing. If anyone says shes mediocre at art (which is what a C implies in the teaching world) that should give her all the fuel in the world to say *uck you, and actually create her own website displaying the work SHE loves and does and is amazing at.
Thank you for all of the love, ideas, and suggestions. We both appreciate it so much. She will be 15 next week and you guys made her week and boosted her confidence. Here is the little artist and what she sent me today while in school. She loves to incorporate her art into all of her subjects which sometimes gets her into trouble lol

I have. She doesn’t mind constructive criticism but she doesn’t like anyone making her so specific techniques. It all comes naturally to her so she doesn’t understand why she needs to have someone teaching her something that can make her better. I hope eventually she’ll take in all the knowledge she can because we can all learn from other people

Okay, coming to kidnap her so I can force her to draw beautiful things and take alllll the credit!!! Totally kidding, but that's super amazing! Have you signed her up for art classes? I bet she could do amazing portraits of people with some practice!

No problem! Then at least she's sort of teaching herself, and nobody will be in her ear to tell her she's doing it wrong. She's already a super awesome artist, so she should be able to figure it out!
