Has anyone ever been sent home..

I’m 38 weeks 6 days. I’ve been a 1cm dilated for a month but went into labor and delivery today with contractions 5 mins apart. I was delayed at a 2. They let me stay for an hour to walk around the floor to check me again and see if I’ve progressed. Nothing still at a 2. Blood pressure was 136/78 and my heart rate stayed elevated at 123 and was still sent home and told they can’t admit me because I’m not 39 weeks yet. I’m scheduled to be induced tomorrow at exactly 39 weeks. I’m in so much pain sitting at home trying to cope with the contractions and hoping my story doesn’t turn into a horror story.
