Testing morning #’s??

Question

How does everyone test morning fasting numbers !? I was told to test before ur feet even hit the floor immediately after waking! But I wake to pee 1-2 times most nights... am I the only one that’s pregnant that needs to pee at night.... not sure what to do will have to ask my DR...

I test as soon as I wake up for the day. I don’t test when you and down through the night peeing but I make sure I drink water each time I wake even though I’m guessing that doesn’t help the whole peeing situation 😂 but no when I know I’m waking up for the day I’ll test then. X

I wasn’t really told an ideal time and sometimes I do it as soon as I wake up and sometimes it’s after my shower. It doesn’t really effect the numbers that much as long as I do it before 9am. I find my nighttime snack has more of an effect. And I’m up about 3-4 times a night to pee.

My doc said to get up and do my normal morning routine and then test.

That seems excessive! My doctor and diabetes consultant just said to wake up, do my normal routine and test before any drinks or food. I normally do it anywhere from 10 min to 30 min after I get out of bed

I pee wash my hands sit up in bed for a few minutes then test
