Can you get pregnant while Breastfeeding?

I am still pumping to feed my 9 month old and we’re ready to try for another. Do I have to stop or is it possible to get pregnant if I’m still breastfeeding? I have had a regular period cycle now for about 4 months.

Totally possible. I got pregnant with #2 while breastfeeding #1 when he was about 9 months old.  (Not intentionally lol) My cycle wasn’t even regular yet again.  Since your cycle is back to normal it probably won’t be any more or less difficult to conceive than it was for the baby you have.   I will say it’s hard having kids that close in age and being pregnant when #1 is still so dependent on you but if your doctor says you can go for it-go for it and good luck!!

Yep. My last last two were while nursing. I track all periods and sex while nursing just in case. Currently 18 weeks. I just stopped nursing my 16 month old last week.
