How many weeks were you when you had your first baby? And what to pack for a hospital bag??

36weeks and had everything ready for me at the hospital

38 weeks! Had a change of clothes & personal items/essentials (flat iron, body wash, deodorant, extra pads/undies etc etc :)

Hospital bag: as little as possible!  The hospital had just about everything baby and I needed.

Check with your hospital what they supply ( some supply nappies and things)
Otherwise if you google there's so many lists. Just chop and change to what works with you.

I delivered at 37 weeks. The night before my 36 week appointment I bought things for my bag (shampoo, conditioner, pajamas, large underwear, pads, etc) but I was never able to pack it as I was sent straight to the hospital from my 36 week appointment. I had my husband bring me things as needed. Comfy clothes after delivery, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, toothbrush, etc were all necessities. The pads and underwear were unnecessary because they provided those. Basically just pack what you need to be comfortable during your stay.
