Leaving baby for the weekend.

So my husband and I are going out of town the weekend after Thanksgiving. Initially, we planned to take our Four-month-old with us. But I’ve been feeling lately like we could use some time together. So my thought is to possibly leave our baby with my mom. I am just not sure if I can actually do this. So I’m curious to know if anyone has done this or is anyone in the same predicament? I know he would be in such wonderful hands, but I feel like I would be a mess.
