Never kissed, never had sex -how special should your first time be?

I’m 18 and, like the title says, I have never kissed or had sex and I am getting impatient waiting for the one.

I have had minor relationships were I’ve definitely been head over heals but they just never got there.

Now I am seeing a guy who I think is very nice and attractive and we are starting to get to that point. However, I’m not sure if I’m in love with him, not yet at least. He has potential though and I feel as if he wants some form of physical conformation of our relationship which I think is only fair.

But since I have never even kissed anyone I am very uncertain whether I should wait for someone I like more or not. What do you guys think?
