Any advice ?

Everyone in my house hold is sick , my one year old , my husband & me myself ! We all have a terrible cold and cough .. and I have a 2 week old !!! What should I do????! I’m so worried we are going to get her sick .. especially having to always be there for the baby I feel like I’m coming in contact way to much and might get her sick by just breathing

Are you breastfeeding?  If so, you’re making antibodies and passing them to baby so baby is less likely to get sick and it should be milder if he does.  Keep up on good hand hygiene for everyone in the house and if baby does get sick, make sure to take the temp with every diaper change and keep track of diapers and feedings in case baby has to go see the doctor.

My toddler and I just came over a cold. I basically kept the toddler away from the baby. And as for me I just washed my hands a lot and had hand sanitizer near by. I also  refrained from kissing baby. We are finally better and baby never caught it thank goodness.

You can buy masks for you and your husband to wear otherwise just keep washing your hands. I know colds can become bad for a baby but most of the time a baby will get through a cold just like the rest of us. Try not to give yourself an anxiety attack.

I was ill after few days being home. I disinfected my hands every time I held the baby but I couldn’t resist kissing her. She bottle fed and she was fine no cold or runny nose. They seem to be stronger then we think. Hope you all get better.
