Labor Signs?

Question

I know the more obvious symptoms (Losing the mucus plug, increasing contractions, etc.) But what were some of the other less obvious symptoms you started experiencing in the days/few weeks before going into labor? If any? Also, how far along were you when the symptoms or labor started?
I'm 35 weeks today so trying to get as prepared as possible!

I felt sooooo sick with a cold 2 days before labor started. I was nauseous AF the morning before contractions started, I went into avtive labor at 4pm.

Lost some mucus plug around a week before I went into labour. Had some mild pains evening before but they were very much like the braxton Hicks I’d been having for a good month so thought nothing of them. I kept waking with painful contractions in the night when I realised they were quite regular and realised I was in early labour.

Nothing for me the time I actually went into labor rather than being induced. I lost my mucus plug. A few days later my water broke and contractions started about an hour later. I had my bloody show at the hospital 2 hours after my water had broke.

Honestly I had zero signs of going into labor. It hit me while I was asleep with a ridiculously sharp contraction like nothing I've ever felt before, then they came at least every 10 minutes for hours. I went to L&D and wasn't dilating yet so I was sent home to labor for a whole day. Finally my mucus plug started coming out in bits and my contractions were getting closer and closer so I went back to L&D and was finally dilated enough to be admitted.

Loosing your mucus plug isn't necessarily a sign.
