So like I said I am a new cat owner. My cat, Rose, is a rescue, estimated to be 2-3 years of age, american short hair according to the vet (calico coloring if important at all). My question is a little odd. Lol. My cat is very loving and affectionate but sometimes when being pet she has this twitch that'll happen, almost like a flinch, when you touch certain areas of her body. It's not that normal back roll jitter cats do in their back when being petted but... say for example I'm running a thumb or finger very very lightly down her paw (she likes her paws held) she will twitch and kind of jerk her paw away. Similarly if you touch her belly she has that same jerk/twitch. Is this normal? Is her skin sensitive? Is this anything I should bring up to her vet? Sorry. I'd google this but I dont even really know where to begin.
