Bleeding at 8 weeks pregnant

Ladies I need your help, I’m currently 8 weeks pregnant.

This morning I was on the toilet (constipated)

And fresh red blood came out of my vagina 😢

Called my midwife straight away and she has told me to keep an eye on it because it could be nothing, I’ve just got to put a pad on and see if it continues or any pain occurs.

I’m so so worried and I can’t shake this feeling 😢😢😢

Has this happened to anyone else and turned out to be nothing?
