Husband stitch

Has anyone heard of it and think it’s true? I had my son at 18 (almost 7 years ago) and throughout the years I’ve always wonder why it took so long to heal and I use to complain that I feel like I got sewed up to tight for like 6 months after having my son. When I delivered my son they cut me and then gave me 8 stitches. I’m currently pregnant and due in 4 days and I did some reading and researching to try and prevent that feeling again and found out about the husband stitch that’s when the doctor sews you up tighter then should be. When you heal your tighter down there for your husband. I kid you not my boyfriend (now husband) said he did feel a difference he thought I was tighter he said the first two months I felt swollen down there then he noticed I was tight.
