Need to order bridesmaid dress...what size??

Question

I’ll be standing up in a wedding about 3 weeks after my due date and need to order the dress soon but do I order the size that fit me at try-on (8 weeks pregnant) or size up? The dress does have some stretch, but I’m worried about the boob area. On the other hand I don’t want it to be baggy because I won’t have time to get it altered before the wedding.

Size up! It takes 40 weeks to grow a human, you won’t want to try to squeeze into something uncomfortable 3 weeks after giving birth.

My sister in law went in and got measured she had her baby two weeks before my wedding so if she was a size 12 at 8-9 months the lady told her to size down only two sizes and she got a 10 and fit her perfect

I would size up and find an alteration shop (call around ahead of time) that can get it done within a week or two. You’ll just have to take it to them as close to the wedding as they will accept.

I would order the size that fit you at 8 weeks pregnant . I am currently 3 weeks pp and am in my pre-pregnancy size.
