Advice?

Question

Does anyones husbands worry so much about money and not about closeness with family and just being together. Yes I know that there are times where if its important to worry but we live comfortably and he just still seems to worry so much about it and gets down about it.
Any advice? I try to keep reassuring him that were fine. Could we do better yes but I feel like he just gets to upset about it. 
To me life is not about money unless your you know broke or homeless etc. Theres more to life than money.

Worry about money can be consuming! 
Ask him if there is anything you can do that would help ease the worry. See if he has any ideas about anything that your household can cut back on, tha is a need and not a want or temporarily not buy to help put a little money aside? Make sure to let him know that you feel his worry is negatively impacting his time with the family. One of the biggest things I tell myself, because I handle bills and money can definitely stress me the heck out, is that stressing about it isnt going to suddenly make more money appear in my bank. All my husband and I can do, is wake up everyday, go to work, push to do all that we can do, cut back cost where we can afford to and slowly chip away at the bills. Enjoying the moments with my family and more important and more precious then worrying about something that literally wont change with worry!

I’m the same. I used to worry about ensuring things being paid or not clearing etc. I would get so anxious and short if things were tight. Like $10 would screw me over right. What has helped for me was doing a day by day budget of bills and paycheques in excel or google sheets. I would also make sure I split up big bills like rent between pay cheque’s. Something about two small hits vs one huge hit at the last of the month made things easier.

I could say I am like your husband and you are like my boyfriend;( I grew up with money struggles and saw the pressure it out on my family and now it’s broken. I am so scared of having those same issues so I work a lot, people say too much, to make sure I have enough for my future family. Maybe ask him why he feels this way? It has to come from something.
