Hi mommas! I need to vent because I feel like I have so much built up. So I had my second baby boy in August, my great aunt moved in with my husband and I in July to help us with our kids because we were going to have a newborn and a one year old (who turns 2 in December). Saturday my husband had made plans to sell my wireless beats headphones at 12:30 for $100 because I NEVER use them and they’re just sitting in our closet collecting dust. Well he couldn’t find them around 10:50 where he thought he had put them, so he searched our entire upstairs, then he searched our garage, searched our upstairs again, went back to the garage searched the car, and then came back upstairs to search upstairs again. Well he kept asking me where I had put them and told him exactly where I put them and then I told him to go check our sons bedroom downstairs because he usually takes off with stuff he’s not suppose to have. 5 minutes into my husband being downstairs looking my aunt walks out of the house and slams the door, I don’t think anything of just asked my husband if everything was okay and he said he didn’t say anything to her. Well I find the headphones placed in an old handbag of mine in one of my sons hiding spots, so my husband leaves at 2:40 to take our son to get a haircut. My aunt comes home while I’m baking and I ask her how her time out was and she just replies “bad” and slams the door before she goes downstairs to the guest room and shuts the door. So I left it at that thinking if she’s in a bad mood, I shouldn’t bug her to make her more upset. Well I hear her coming up the stairs and opening the door I asked her if she was leaving and she goes “yes” and slams the door on the way out. So I call my mom and tell her that I think she’s mad and she should call her, but my mom said just to leave her alone. Well my husband comes home and I take the opportunity to run to the restroom, whenever I get a text message from him saying that my aunt came home asking him if he found the headphones. He told her he did and then she said “good don’t ever accuse me of stealing again” I was so confused so I rush downstairs and try to talk to her and explain that my husband NEVER accused her or stealing nor even thought she stole from us. Well she didn’t wanna hear any of if and she tells me she’s moving out by the end of this week (knowing my son hasn’t gotten placed into a daycare yet because he’s still on the waitlist) so I told her I don’t want her to leave but if that’s what she wants then okay. So I’ve been hiding in my room since Saturday because I feel so uncomfortable because she locks herself in the guest room which is the only way to get into our backyard to let our dogs outside and it’s just an awkward feeling in our house. Because I know my husband didn’t do anything wrong, he never accused her and he didn’t ask her more than once if she had seen the headphones, he didn’t go through her stuff or the room she was in. He just went to our sons known hiding places and she just decided to up and leave. Now I’m in a ton of crap at work because my husband travels for work and I have no where to take my 3 mo old for childcare. I’m sorry this post is so long but I needed a place to vent.
