When is the best time to have sex according to ovulation strips

Ok so I’m very confused. I thought the best day to have sex was when the line is very solid. Not when it’s fading. We have been trying for a year and I’m new to this app, but now I feel like I’ve been looking at these strips wrong!

I don’t ovulate until 72 hours AFTER i get a peak ovulation test. That is considered later than most women but everyone is different.

Yea you’re supposed to bd on the positive opk test and the app is just saying that since we usually ovulate 12 to 36 hours after the positive test. So have sex the day you get the positive and two days after just to make sure the sperm gets a chance to  catch the egg! I hope I made sense !
