I’ve been shaving this whole time, it’s super uncomfortable for me to let it grow out even just a little bit

Ive heard to avoid shaving it completely just due to uncomfortable regrowth during healing. But since i cant even see anything down there ive just been trimming it with the electric side of my razor. Seems safer than shaving completely blind since last time i cut myself. But do what you feel comfortable with.

This is my third pregnancy and I’ve been told (and given a hand out) at 34 weeks with each pregnancy NOT to shave in the off chance you need a c section.   The reason being, there is a slight, but measureable increase, in the risk of infection if you need a csection due to the small cuts that are normal from shaving.  The chance is pretty low for most of us, so ultimately it’s your choice. I use it as an excuse not to shave any more 😂 I can’t see, bend, or reach enough to shave at this point any way.

I shave regularly. But there’s no right or wrong answer for this. Some women choose to shave and some don’t. I plan to be shaved down there due to all the bleeding after labor. I don’t like when it gets all stuck in the hairs 😖

It doesn’t matter unless you have a planned c section and they specify for you not to. Otherwise just do what makes you comfortable, nobody will notice either way!
