40+3 and not even a centimeter!?

So just left the dr. She checked and I’m barely a half centimeter! She couldn’t even do a membrane sweep. Induction is scheduled for Saturday (I’ll be 41 then). She made it seem like nothing is going to happen naturally before then... I believe her. I have had zero things happening!!!

You sound like me, went in today and my OB said I have a crap cervix 🤣 We set my induction date for this upcoming Sunday evening, my OB also acted like nothing would happen before then. Here is hoping the induction process goes smoothly for us!

Sorry I know how you feel. I’m barley a fingertip with a long and high cervix   I’m 40 and 5 days and just came in for an induction. Was basically told that my cervix is unfavorable and this is going to be a long process. I hope this is not the case for you but I can let you know the steps taken and how long it took of you want. I feel you kinda. I’m 39 today, was in L&D all night with contractions 4-5 min apart, but still only 1cm as I’ve been for over a week. So no change. She put me on bed rest today as I have a labor job, so she’s hoping the rest might help something happen naturally. Scheduled induction for 27th! I’ll be 40+1, and I’m nervous.

Same here! I’m 39 weeks and 4 days...saw the OB today and being induced tomorrow.  Completely zero progress and cervix completely closed. Good news - baby is far down in the canal! He’s been measuring big and she doesn’t see the benefit of waiting any longer. :)

This happened to me with my first baby, I was 0cm and couldn't get a sweep at 40+5. She came on her own at 41+2, and labor was actually pretty quick and went perfectly. Good luck!

40 and 5 days. I had an appointment yesterday and only 2 cm and 50% effaced. Induction is scheduled for Thursday. Still trying to keep some hope that this little girl will come on her own!

Omg im 39 weeks today and same!🤦🏻‍♀️😭😭😭 i dont woma get induced but had zero pain or symptoms, only minir period like cramps and this was like 2 weeks ago, no dilation🤦🏻‍♀️😭😭😭

40 days + 2 days. Went to doc yesterday only 1 cm dilated. Il prob be induced on Monday. Hoping my cervix opens uppp
