Please share a screenshot of your week if you log feeds and sleeps, I’d love to see if anyone has a set routine or are a bit all over the place like me. Curious how different our days look. 3 weeks old today :)

The only routine we are following is the EASY routine. But the times of such are flexible. EASY stands for Eat, Awake, Sleep, You. So it’s pretty simple to follow. My boy is 6 weeks and is starting to have a pattern set out.

I follow EASY as well! Best thing ever. We did it with my 2 year old as well, and he know sleeps 10-11 hours each night and takes a 2 hour nap every afternoon. It has made taking care of baby #2 so much easier because big brother is consistent.

I change him after he feeds, unless he really needs it before lol. I talk to him, play with his fingers and toes, tickle him a bit lol. He usually wakes up! If he doesn’t, then I let him sleep. I do my best to break up eating and sleeping with even just a few minutes of awake time. Even if it’s not much. I don’t purposefully keep him awake at night. He usually stays awake himself but I’ll just swaddle him back up, lay him in his pack n play - he’ll put himself to sleep in usually 20-30 mins.

I stopped tracking with my app after the 1st week. Caused me more unnecessary anxiety and stress because I would get wrapped up with tracking the stretches between sleep and frustrated when she didnt sleep long. if any mamas are there I suggest ditching the app and seeing if it helps your frame of mind it sure did for me. EBF and almost 5 weeks old

Sooooo I used to keep track and log every thing, but then it got too tricky for my to keep up with all the time especially since my husband is back to work. And when she’s crying and I’m trying to get my phone and log this stuff in. As long as I know she’s eating and napping every 2-3 hrs and peeing/pooping...we’re okay. Haha. I can mentally keep track of how many ounces she’s eating since it usually 2-3 oz each feed.
