Measuring 31 weeks at 24 weeks? Is this normal?

How accurate are the measurements they do at the doctors? I didn’t think I was that big for 24 weeks until the doctor told me it’s a huge baby! I am nervous. I also started my pregnancy at 186lbs now I’m 184.

From an ultrasound? Not accurate. Ultrasounds can be off by pounds.

Seems way off to me. Was doctor concerned about this? I accidentally gave my first day of ovulation date rather than first day of last period at my first ob appointment. At the nuchal ultrasound baby was measuring two weeks ahead and we couldn’t understand why. Doctor was concerned how it could be SO off. I went back and looked at my period app and noticed the mistake I made. Mistake fixed, I was indeed two weeks ahead. I’m saying all this because your doctor should be concerned about it and if they aren’t, I’d get a second opinion and possibly switch doctors completely.

I agree. I think they miscalculated somewhere because I am 25 weeks and I feel like I look bigger than you and I wasn’t measuring big.

You are NOT large. I’m seriously questioning that doctor.
I am double your size and not measuring that far ahead.
Also they’re incredibly inaccurate
