Other- my grandma was an identical twin and I had identical twins too! Identical twins are not hereditary so we’re just lucky! My husband has so many sets of fraternal twins in his family that we’ve lost count! Fraternal twins come from the mothers genetic make up.

I’m pregnant with twins, my grandmother (maternal) was a twin, my daddy has two sets of first cousin twins and a couple other sets in his family, and my mom has cousin twins and another set somewhere. They most definitely run in both sides of my family!

Twins run in my side of the family and my husbands side.
My mom is a fraternal twin, I have older brothers who are identical twins, My husband has a twin sister, I had a twin sister but she passed in the womb, my eldest brother has fraternal twins (boy&girl) while my other brother has identical twin boys, and now here I am pregnant with twin girls.
I’m honestly surprised that my 2 year old wasn’t a twin 😂
